My Favorite Things

Hey everyone, long time no post! I've had no time to sit down and write in so long, but I've been keeping up with my videos, so that's good. so lets get started! Today I wanted to show you some of the things that I have been loving lately.

1. Claw Bracelet

I have been obsessed with this ever since I saw it on tumblr. I had no clue where I could get one for myself but I started the search. The first place I checked was eBay, and that's good they had it, because after awhile it gets boring looking all over when you have no clue what it's actually called. It ended up being around $2 which is such a steal, plus free shipping! yayyy! It was being shipped from Hong Kong so I was assuming it would take about a month but by surprise it came in two weeks! I wear this with everything, so watch out for any outfit pairing this.

 2. Britney Spears Circus Perfume

I've been looking for new perfume lately but with the crazy prices I just can't get myself to pay $60+ for a little bottle of perfume I might not love. So that's when I discovered Marshalls perfume. They have every perfume ever, and that's great. I like to go there pick out a random one under $15 and buy it. I've done this about three times and to my suprise I've liked everyone. This one is 1 fl oz, which is the perfect size for the price of $10. I am
very bad at describing fragrances but it's not to fruity or sweet smelling but its not so strong either. I really like having a little mystery in my life .

 3. New Essie Colors

I've just started my new Essie nail polish collection and decided to stick with one brand. After a long decision I chose Essie brand because it has some very beautiful colors and it stayed on my nails for two weeks without chipping. Essie nail polish is sold at Target, CVS, and a bunch of other drug stores so they all have different ones. It's around $8 but is well worth it. These are the colors I picked for summer with are fun and summery to match my swim suit.

Trend Watch: Neon

Trend Watch: Neon for Spring.

Hey everyone!
I know its been awhile since I posted last but I've been very busy, so lets just jump back into the swing of things. Lately I have been noticing new trends popping up everywhere. One of my favorite that you should watch out for in the early spring time is neon. If any of you watched my new video about thing you should pack when going on spring break you would I know I talked a lot about neon colors being big this year. Neon colors can really be fun to play with and maybe people have. In this months Seventeen Magazine they talked about new trends for spring and one of them happened to be neon, heck the magazines cover is bright neon yellow and pink, are you taking the hint?

Here are some photos for things in my closets:

photos:
1. This is a great trend that celebrities love! I like how Kim Kardashian is wearing not only one bright color but 2! check out those shoes!
2. This came for Seventeen Magazine, they didn't display there brightest colors but I get there point.
3. Cover of Seventeen. Wow do my eyes hurt after looking at this one. I love Lily Collins dress, but I love the necklace more! Its a nice way to brighten up the outfit even more.
4. My shirt from American Eagle. Easy to just throw on over a tank.
5. see number 4 above.
6. My neon blue necklace from Kohls pulls more colors into it to make it as bright as it can be. This necklace can be apart of the tribal trend as well.
7. Hot pink rose ring. This is huge on my finger but its fun to wear in the winter time to have a pop of color when I wear all black. From Forever 21.
8. Same as number 7, look above.
9. I love this style of watch, I have the same kind in 3 different colors. This is from target.
10. Same as number 6.

Thank you so much for stopping by, tell me what you think about the neon trend, love it or hate it?

Don't Hurt your eyes ;)

Let's Make A Statement

Hey Everyone, today I thought it would be fun to show some of my favorite statement necklaces. These are a great accessories if you are trying to spice you a casual looking outfit. Some of these pieces are things I own, and others I think would be great buys.
This first necklace is from House of Harlow, look at my other post for a direct link.
Look at the bottom for links.

2. Forever 21 link
4. Forever 21
5. Forever 21
6. Forever 21
9. Forever 21, same as 3 & 4

Lets just say forever 21 is my favorite store right now, but they do have great statement pieces that aren't even jewelry. Shopping online is a better way to find a great variety of different things that might not be in store, plus most people where you live won't have that piece if you buy online instead of in store.

Lets make a statement together!

Riding Boots

Hi everyone,
One of my favorite types of shoes for fall and winter are riding boots. They are the cutest, most comfortable types of boots out there. I purchased my favorite Steve Madden Rood, riding boots 2 years ago in the fall. At the time they cost $165, which is pretty pricey, but for real leather boots it was defiantly worth the price, plus they have lasted 2 years and still going strong! Below I have just put up pictures of the boots. they are very comfortable, and great to walk in. They have a strap in the back to adjust if you have a bigger calf . It also has a fuzzy lining on the inside which is nice in the winter time. These are actually a great color for shoes, they go with just about everything!
(white socks are not attached)
The second pair of boots I have are black riding boots from DSW. DSW is a great place to find nice riding boots, for great prices especially in the fall, when they have all new deals goings. Theses boots I actually share with my mom but they are worth it since they are cute and give a sophisticated look being in black. They have a detailed buckle at the top and they are also elastic, if you have a wider calf.
On that note when finding that perfect pair make sure they are a big enough sock so you can fit a think sock in during the winter months. Also when having a leather boot make sure you spray them with a weathering leather spray so they don't get ruined and will last a life time!

Welcome All!

Hi everyone!
I'm so excited today since I decided to make a fashion blog!!!! This will be a fun way to put out more fashion ideas without having to make a video. If you don't know already, I have a fashion channel on YouTube, here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/user/FashionAccordingToMe?feature=mhee, I would love for everyone to come check it out.
To kick off this new blog I will show you what I recently have been loving in my closet for winter.
First picture I show is my new L.A.M.B wallet. I have always love L.A.M.B, ever since it came out when I was in the sixth grade, since I loved Gwen Stefani. This is actually the first thing I have gotten from Gwen's line. I received this wallet for Christmas. It hold a lot of things which is nice.
I kind of have this obsession with jewelry now. It just that there is so much interesting things out there, that can really make a look amazing. I have been loving necklaces the most. I have a long , chunky pearl necklace from H&M, and a Geo-shaped black and gold one from Nicole Richie's line House of Harlow 1960, which has great pieces that are great quality, and very cute.
On my "want" list right now is the Alexander McQueen skull scarf, but since it's around $500 I can't really afford that so I just got a similar scarf off eBay of around $5, which was a great price for something I know I wasn't going to wear everyday.
For late fall and winter I suggest a faux-fur vest. I would never wear really fur, i'm a Peta person. These faux-fur vest not only do they keep you warm but they are cute and make me feel like Rachel Zoe. Fur vest were really popular last year (fall of 2010) and are now back in style. The most common color for fur vest would be the camel/light brown ones, but I prefer the black colored one, since it goes with just about everything in my closet.
Yesterday I picked up these cute high waisted dress, shorts. I have been looking forever for some like these. I pair them with black tights and wedges, and they are instantly cute!
On my same shopping trip I picked up the black a-line skirt from H&M, this is a great piece to have, although I don't care for the neon pink at the top I can live with it. I'm just so excited to wear them with my bright tights, if you haven't guessed already, I've been inspired by Gossip Girl!
